Hello! I am Headshot Photographer in Newcastle city centre for businesses and the general public.
I offer portraits at my studio for the general public for LinkedIn profiles, social media, dating, actors, models and company websites. If you are a business and your team are too stretched to head to me, I can bring my studio kit to you! We can meet at your co working space or company’s premises to use studio light or natural light. I am vastly experienced, super friendly and will help you or your team relax in front of the camera and that is a promise!

In this era almost everybody has an online profile, be it a Facebook or Instagram selfie or a LinkedIn headshot in a professional setting. It’s almost a given that we are viewed online, in social networks and editorial print by people we have never met. It is often a regular requirement to supply an image for a CV job application, a company website or a conference like the header image you see at the top of this page. So for our professional lives a well-executed and relaxed portrait image is a must!
I offer three different portrait packages so there is something for everyone, whether you’re looking for some quick headshots or something more in depth. My three packages are detailed below. Portrait Packages for Individuals
Headshot Shoot £150
This Headshot photoshoot is an enjoyable and unfussy solution to update online portraits at my Newcastle Photography studio with a change of top and backdrop halfway through. The aim is to achieve 30 varied images for to you to choose 5 to own as digital files for online and print.
I shoot a variety of full length, half length and head and shoulder shots despite the ‘Headshot’ title, and it’s designed for those wanting a photo update on social media profiles like LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram or self employed business websites, PR and Actors too.

Portfolio Photography Experience £300
This is a photo-shoot designed for a range of people who’d like to take more time to get an outstanding creative portfolio. It suits performers such as models, singers, sports and fitness competitors, actors and dancers with time to spend on interesting props and creative photos that show flair, drama, physique and oodles of character!
This also is a package perfect for aspiring models who want to try it out before signing a contract and want some experience and guidance too. Many parents get in touch to book for their children ranging from very young to teens into 20’s with the knowledge they are safe and looked after. Parents can also attend the shoot and either watch, help and give moral support or sit out in my comfy waiting area for those models who prefer independence. It’s an enjoyable and experimental experience designed to be fun with no sales pressure or model skill expectations.
This package is also an amazing Gift Experience, a unique idea for a birthday, something that is enjoyable but with a fabulous end result and high quality keepsake. Nothing better than freezing yourself in time on a 16th, 18th, 21st, 30th, 40th or 50th birthday celebrations and beyond! It is also popular as a present from a loved one on anniversaries or friends clubbing together for someone who has always wanted a portfolio experience.

Artist Press Shoot £500
This portrait shoot in my Newcastle Photographers Studio is designed to give you the maximum creative approach for press releases and PR for your personal brand or new venture. You may be a DJ, an Author, a Graphic Designer, Film Director, a Stage Performer, Dancer or an Actor who is after something a little bit different from the ‘norm’.
It might be a headshot for piece of local or national editorial with a front page cover, an album release or book cover you need a set of eye catching photographs for. I can work to your brief, listen carefully to your ideas and produce exactly what you have in your minds eye!
Or maybe you are a model who has many outfits as this shoot covers up to 8! Giving you more time to capture a large variety of looks using your accessories and clothing, reflecting your personality with creative lighting and angles. And most of all making it a fun experience!
This 2 hour shoot gives you time to relax, experiment and together we work creatively to come up with 35 really striking images that catch attention and project professionalism no matter your profession. The results are polished, beautifully curated pieces of art with you and your career as the focal point.

Portraits on Location for Business
You might have a team that you want headshots for but the logistics of bringing them all to my Photographers studio in Newcastle just doesn’t make sense!
So don’t worry! I can come to you. Portable studio or natural environment? The choice is yours.
Studio lit headshots with a portable studio
I have a portable studio that I can set up in any space 10ft x 10ft whether a boardroom or communal area in your building or sometimes even in an office where I capture your team one by one against a coloured paper roll of your choice. It can be neutral or coloured to match your team page colour scheme or perhaps your logo or branding guideline colours.

Natural light portraits in an office or outdoor environment
If you prefer a more creative or relaxed look I can use your office as the backdrop, blurring it so your faces are the focal point and just a suggestion of a work environment remains.
I can capture at work documentary or looking at camera creating a more storytelling image to show who you and your team really are.
Alternatively we can pop outside to use natural backdrops such as architecture, brickwork, streets, urban skylines or rivers and bridges to build a story of your location or company brand.
I am always happy to suggest creative ideas and work closely with my clients to achieve imagery that fits well on their website and represents professionalism over social media platforms.

Many business are now showcasing their services by using Newcastle photographers to document their staff at work in an office or client location. I love to visit my clients premises to capture ‘in the moment’ photography telling a true story about who you are and how your team service your clients. I’ll be creative with available light, avoid anything too ‘staged’ and capture natural expressions and moments projecting a positive and professional atmosphere.

but I HATE having my picture taken!
Firstly, I know! There are few who embrace having their photo taken so I treat every client with care, consideration and a personally tailored approach. My photography style is unfussy, speedy and well executed using simple lighting techniques to flatter your skin tone and create natural pictures with no trickery needed. I like to keep my sessions stress free and smooth, so even my most nervous clients leave saying ‘that was better than I expected, I actually enjoyed it!’
Do you offer headshot retouching?
I believe it is important for your photos to look like you, to show glints of personality and to capture the very best version of you. For those who want an airbrushed finish, this can be applied later to soften shadows, blemishes or even tired eyes, on an individual request and this is included in the pricing.
How do I book?
You can book your session here. But here’s how it works, most who visit my studio have never done this before so I give guidance through the whole process. Firstly we agree a time and date for your portrait session, slots are offered on the hour or half hour and by appointment only, Monday to Friday 10am to 3pm. Later appointments can sometimes be arranged on request.
Your booking confirmation email will give you all the preparation info on what to bring and how to prepare then on arrival we can discuss the results you would like. Your images are later edited and supplied around a week later. Express service can be offered at an extra £50 fee.

So, which portrait package do I choose?
You might like to give some consideration to the type of experience you’d enjoy most, either a simple Headshot shoot for 30 minutes (full length and half length shots also included) or a more thorough and creative approach as a Portfolio shoot. The Portfolio gives you time to relax, so is great for the more nervous personalities with clothing styling, guidance on posing and creative lighting effects.
All three of my packages can be for any line of work, whether a Business Director, an Actor, a Model, a birthday celebration or maybe you need a great shot for your dating profile!
To summarise; My Headshot shoot is a speedy solution in and out in 30 minutes, Portfolio is for more creativity, outfits and time to relax, or my Artist Press Shoot package is 2 fun hours, up to 8 outfits and a great deal of creativity eye catching lighting and bespoke ideas for your brand and personality!
How much are professional headshots?
I know headshots can be seen as expensive but I have a range of packages to suit all budgets and they are an investment in you and your brand that will last years to come. All packages have retouching included in the fee.
