Caledonian Brewery Cask Ale ‘Hero’ Photography

Well Monday entailed yet another sunny afternoon spent in a pub! But not guzzling pints, just making them look pretty! Caledonian had asked ND Creative to add some hero shots to the Cask Ale document they were designing. So I went to a fab little pub in Ponteland to elbow the locals out of the way at the bar and get the shots that make your mouth water.

Children’s Day Holiday in Japan, Baby Portraits

Asami, Laion and Paul came into the studio early May for their son to be photographed on Childrens day. They brought with them the most amazing props in the form of ten foot fish and traditional clothes. These giant printed wind socks gave these shots a particularly graphic edge… see what you think!

Heineken pubs in London, The Blacksmith & Toffeemaker

I was in London recently to shoot several pubs for Heineken’s pub company, S&NPC. I saw some fabulous interiors whilst there and great design ideas and furnishings for pubs, cafes and living spaces.

Here is the Blacksmith and Toffemaker in Angel, if any Londoners haven’t been, get down there for their fabulous food, lovely staff and a chilled vibe. For anyone nationwide, next time you are in the big smoke get on a tube to Angel and pay them a visit… its well worth it.

Studio Product Shoot.. Stage Two

You may remember the delightful Sophia who came to my studio to sit on and behind  retro speakers rocking old school headphones… well she came back to shoot the next stage in this top secret project (I can’t tell you as I would have to kill you… well not yet anyway) and we got messy with Sharpies and red paint!

PS. Whilst this project unravels I have had some amazing acrylics delivered from Sophia’s stereo headphones shoot…. these are now offered as a fantastic new product here at the studio. Details to follow… now where did I put my rawl plugs and drill?

Barry Ersoz, Corporate Portraiture for ND Creative

Well Barry Ersoz of Power 4 Pubs was a super chap to photograph, jolly and a good sport. Barry had a passion for photography so we chatted f-stops and techniques as I shot. Many MD’s would rather be running the business than posing for photos but good profile images always make for a friendly approachable business.

It was ND Creative that commissioned these professional yet relaxed contemporary photography for one of their spreads in the S & N Pub company quarterly ‘Pub Life’. For more information on their please work visit http://www.ndcreative.com/commercial portraits newcastle upon tyne
